Scythe: Amazingly, Yamato actually awakened Nero's full demon powers, and let him access the Devil Trigger.
Soul: But everything came to a head when Nero stumbled across an underground laboratory where he found Yamato, the sword Sparda used to seal our world from the Devil world, and the primary weapon of Sparda's son Vergil. His primary firearm is the Blue Rose, a modified six shooter that can either fire two shots, one after the other, or simply fire one by one. Scythe: He also wields his own custom made sword, the Red Queen, a custom build sword which can match Dante's Rebellion and embed it's blade with fire for stronger attacks. It can even be powered up to to the size of a 2 story building! Soul: The Devil Bringer is the representation of Nero's demon side, as he's actually 1 quarter demon, and he can use it to stop attacks from the Savor and Dante, guys who could destroy entire continents, and form a spectral projection of itself to attack from a distant or pull opponent's to him. (Que Devil May Cry 5 - Devil Trigger (Instrumental): ) And it's gotta be thanks to his right arm, the Devil Bringer. Soul: I guess if Dante gives them the thumbs up he's gotta be good. And so he teamed up with Dante to take them down before they could destroy the world. After Dante dropped in and shot his boss in the face, Nero was sent to investigate, only to learn the Order of the Sword was.kinda nuts. Occupation: Holy Knight (Formerly) | Devil Hunter (Currently).
Affiliation: Order of the Sword (Formerly) | Devil May Cry (Currently). The city was protected from demons by the Order of the Sword, who's soldiers where called Holy Knights. Scythe: Long ago, after Sparda sealed the Human world from the Demon world, there was a city that began worshiping the Legendary Dark Knight. (Que Devil May Cry 3 - Devils Never Cry: ) Scythe: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to figure out who would win a Death Battle. We're only using DMC4 Nero feats here folks. I don’t know anything about Vergil DT, but I am going to assume he got it through power as well and not like Nero, otherwise his ideology that humans are stronger technically would fall apart since Nero is more human than demon.Īlso for the people who say Nero is stronger, no, just no, it was the same scenario as M13 in DMC3, Dante&Vergil fight and tire each other out, Arkham/Nero step in and beat up both characters.Soul: It should be known we're talking about the Dante from the DmC: Devil May Cry REBOOT! This is not the OG Dante. A main point I’d like to mention is that Nero’s DT used to be referred to as the Perfect Devil-Trigger in concept art, so perhaps it is because he is 25% demon, as well as truly gaining through real reasons, rather than gaining a devil form through power (like Vergil and Dante, DMC3 DT came through a power influx, and Dante’s real DT came about when he started becoming powerful enough that he had more than enough demonic energy for his own DT, rather than being motivated and having the drive to become powerful.) This is similar to DMC4, but different because this is entirely on his own, while he had help from the Yamato (and part of Vergil’s spirit, who taught him to use the Yamato and become stronger).Īnd why is his DT so vastly different from other DTs? Well most demons are pretty unique so a particular form for them isn’t out of the question, Dante & Vergil have similarities but major differences in both of their designs. The love he has for Kyrie, Dante, V and Vergil is his drive, and his motivation is the need to get stronger to protect those that he loves. His unconscious love becoming real when he screams “I’m not letting you die.”. So in DMC5, Nero gains his devil-trigger by having enough drive and motivation to become stronger, to protect the ones he loves, and while he may not LOVE Dante or Vergil yet, he knows they are family, and unconsciously has love for both of them. I could be wrong about this, but this idea that demons can become stronger purely through motivation&drive May suggest that the demons, Riot, Chaos and Fury, are all the same species, but each had a different motive & drive which caused them to evolve into their specific forms, Riot being a careless demon but also evasive, Chaos being very in your face and aggressive, while Fury is the more evasive and tactical of the two, clearly evolving to a higher form than Riot or Chaos. In DMC5, and in novels I believe, Demons are able to “devil-trigger” through pure motive and inspiration. The Yamato became a catalyst which allowed him to unlock a pseudo-DT, a devil-trigger that grants him the abilities of a demon, but not the look. The arm is just an accident really, a plot device for him to figure out he is a demon, he technically always had his DT, but needed to unlock it. He is demon, demonic blood is in his system all the time.
